This STALLION BREEDING CONTACT for the breeding season of 2005, made and entered into on this
_______ Day of ____________, 20___, is by and between Meredith James of Lucky Hart Paints, hereinafter designated
Stallion Owner, and ____________________________, hereinafter Designated Mare Owner. Mare Owner agrees to
breed the Mare ___________________________ Reg No. ____________, to the Stallion CADILLAC JAC MAC
APHA # 507,606, for the Stud Fee of $500, for a Live COLOR FOAL, subject to the following conditions:
1. The breeding fee includes a non-refundable booking fee of $150 payable upon execution of this contract. The balance
of this fee and all other expenses must be paid when the mare is picked up. Mare Owner may not remove mare from
Breeding premises until all expenses are paid in full.
2. Mare Owner agrees to pay for care and feed at $6.00 a day, wet or dry.
3. Upon arrival a health certificate indicating a healthy and breeding sound condition, current vaccination and worming shall
accompany all mares. Failure to furnish this certificate gives authorization for the Stallion Owner to have the mare
examined and vaccination, worming made current by a licensed veterinarian at Mare Owners expense. Mare Owner shall
be responsible for all expenses incurred by mare or mare/foal while in possession of Eddie & Meredith Dirst, Lucky Hart
Paints or any other agents.
4. Stallion Owner reserves the right to refuse mare if not in satisfactory condition. If mare is refused, the booking fee shall
constitute liquidated damages.
5. Mares that are not halter broke and broke to tie will not be accepted. Mares shall also have rear shoes removed prior
to being delivered to the breeding facility. If shoes are not removed Stallion Owner shall have shoes removed at Mare
Owners expense.
6. Stallion will diligently attempt to settle your mare until July 1st. Mare Owner agrees to give the stallion ample
opportunity to settle the mare (breeding mare throughout at least two heat cycles or being certified in foal by a licensed
veterinarian. If mare does not settle during the current year breeding season, or does not deliver a live color foal, a re-
breed of equal value will be granted for the following year ONLY to the same said mare or a substitute approved by
Lucky Hart Paints.
7. If mare is not delivered for breeding during the current year, breed is forfeited.
8. During the time that the mare is in the custody of the stallion owners, the stallion owners shall not be liable for any
sickness, disease, injury or death which may be suffered by the mare and/or foal at side. Mare owner shall be responsible
for any care charges or veterinary charges incurred.
9. All mares must be vaccinated against “Rhino Pneumonitis” Pneumonia-Abort in the 5th, 7th, and 9th month
of pregnancy or the live color foal guarantee will be null and void. Proof of which will be required if there is a
loss of foal.
10. This contract is non-assignable and non-transferable.
